Mould making

Mould section for mud guards.

Method

A drawing from Amalfi Designs was imported into RhinoCad4 the tool paths created with RhinoCam standard

RhinoCAM was able produce a roughing tool path and a finnish tool path. A ball nose cutter was used on our CNC router.

The mould was then filled with a suitable resin. When the resin, set the mold was removed and any imperfection were corrected.

The resin mould was then put in a vacuum former to produce the product from an impact resisting plastic sheet
